Previous studies have shown that RALP offers better postoperative oncological and physiological outcomes compared to open and laparoscopic techniques. However, RALP patients still experience pain lasting for several days postoperatively, which requires the use of analgesics such as opioids. This pain is associated with port site incisions, dissection of the prostate and surrounding tissues, bladder spasms, and transurethral catheter irritation. For this purpose, previous studies have utilized central and peripheral methods to reduce postoperative pain. Previous studies have demonstrated the analgesic benefits of TAP block and rectus sheath block in robotic-assisted radical prostatectomies. However, the number of studies in this area is limited. In this research, we aim to compare the postoperative analgesic efficacy of these two peripheral blocks in patients undergoing RALP who have received preoperative TAP block and RSB block.","Patients aged 18-79 who underwent robotic radical prostatectomy and have ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical status score of 1-3.",[43,48],{"label":44,"type":36,"description":45,"interventionNames":46},"TAP Group","TAP block will be performed immediately after the induction of anesthesia, under ultrasond guidence.",[47],"Other: TAP Block",{"label":49,"type":36,"description":50,"interventionNames":51},"RSB Group","RSB block will be performed immediately after the induction of anesthesia, under ultrasond guidence.",[52],"Other: RSB",[54,58],{"type":55,"name":56,"description":45,"armGroupLabels":57,"otherNames":36},"OTHER","TAP Block",[44],{"type":55,"name":59,"description":60,"armGroupLabels":61,"otherNames":36},"RSB","Rectus Sheath block will be performed immediately after the induction of anesthesia, under Ultrasond guidence.",[49],[63],{"name":64,"role":65,"phone":66,"phoneExt":36,"email":67},"Zeynep Koc","CONTACT","+905345958843","zeynepyilmazkoc@hotmail.com",[69],{"facility":70,"status":36,"city":71,"state":72,"zip":36,"country":73,"countryCode":36,"cosmosGeoPoint":74,"geoPoint":79,"contacts":36},"Zeynep Koç","Yenimahalle","Ankara","Turkey (Türkiye)",{"type":75,"coordinates":76},"Point",[77,78],32.80147,39.97787,{"lat":78,"lon":77},{"type":81,"investigatorFullName":64,"investigatorTitle":82,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":36,"oldOrganization":36},"PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR","principal investigator","100568464",false,"NCT06681571","Comparison of Analgesic Effects of TAP Block and RSB in RALPs","Comparison of Analgesic Effects of Subcostal Transversus Abdominis Plane Block and Rectus Sheath Block in Robotic-Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomies","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients aged 18-79 who underwent robotic radical prostatectomy\n* Patients have ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical status score of 1-3.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Patients with an allergy to local anesthetic agents\n* a platelet count below 100,000\n* INR value above 2","ALL","18 Years","79 Years",{"count":93,"type":94},100,"ESTIMATED","1 Day","OBSERVATIONAL","In this research, we aim to compare the postoperative analgesic efficacy of these two peripheral blocks in patients undergoing RALP who have received preoperative TAP block and RSB block.",[99],"Postoperative Pain",[101,102,103],"transversus abdominis plane block","Rectus sheath block","Robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy","NOT_YET_RECRUITING","2024-11-07",{"date":107,"type":108},"2024-11-08","ACTUAL",{"date":110,"type":94},"2024-11-20",{"date":112,"type":94},"2025-01-30",{"name":5,"class":6},1]
