The combination of anamnestic and clinical data and biomarkers should provide a better characterization of our patients and should improve the analysis of the disease development of different PH forms and therapeutic aspects.\n\nAfter given informed consent patients' data are entered in a database at different time points. The database includes parameter of several invasive and non-invasive investigations like right heart catheterization (RHC), echocardiography, ECG, pulmonary function tests, cardiorespiratory exercise testing, 6-minute walk test, computed tomography, MRI, polysomnography, blood gas analysis and laboratory data as well as demographic data of the patients.\n\nThe blood samples are taken during routine punctuation and are stored in our biobank.","Patients who come to our outpatient clinic with pulmonary haypertension, symptoms that may be caused by pulmonary hypertension and patients at risk for pulmonary hypertension",[20],{"label":21,"type":13,"description":22,"interventionNames":13},"Patients of our outpatient clinic","Patients who have an investigation in our outpatient clinic for pulmonary hypertension like a echocardiography, a right heart catheterization or a cardio pulmonary exercise testing",[24],{"name":25,"affiliation":5,"role":26},"Horst Olschewski, MD","PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",[28,32],{"name":25,"role":29,"phone":30,"phoneExt":13,"email":31},"CONTACT","+43-316-385-12183","horst.olschewski@medunigraz.at",{"name":33,"role":29,"phone":30,"phoneExt":13,"email":34},"Maria Tscherner, MD","m.tscherner@medunigraz.at",[36],{"facility":5,"status":37,"city":38,"state":13,"zip":39,"country":40,"countryCode":41,"cosmosGeoPoint":42,"geoPoint":47,"contacts":48},"RECRUITING","Graz","8010","Austria","AT",{"type":43,"coordinates":44},"Point",[45,46],15.44197,47.06733,{"lat":46,"lon":45},[49,50,51],{"name":25,"role":29,"phone":30,"phoneExt":13,"email":31},{"name":33,"role":29,"phone":30,"phoneExt":13,"email":34},{"name":25,"role":26,"phone":13,"phoneExt":13,"email":13},{"type":53,"investigatorFullName":13,"investigatorTitle":13,"investigatorAffiliation":13,"oldNameTitle":13,"oldOrganization":13},"SPONSOR","100179231",false,"NCT01607502","Database for Clinical and Anamnestic Data in Pulmonary Hypertension","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* patients with pulmonary hypertension\n* patients at risk for getting pulmonary hypertension\n* patients who have symptoms which my be due to pulmonary hypertension when we have their written informed consent.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* patients without written informed consent","ALL","18 Years",{"count":62,"type":63},900,"ESTIMATED","OBSERVATIONAL","Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is defined as a pulmonary arterial mean pressure (meanPAP) ≥ 25 mmHg measured in the right heart catheterization.\n\nThere are different forms of PH defined in the classification of Dana Point 2008.\n\nPH is diagnosed with right heart catheterization but there are other non invasive methods which can be used for screening like the echocardiography, stress echocardiography and cardio pulmonary exercise testing. In the diagnosis process and in the follow up of PH patients biomarkers like NTproBNP are helpful. There are no specific biomarkers for the disease which can make the diagnosis process easier and predict prognosis.\n\nThe systematic data collection in a data base provides better information about patients in daily routine and clinical studies as well as in the design of new studies.",[67],"Pulmonary Hypertension",[69,70,71],"Pulmonary hypertension","database","biomarker","2026-01-13",{"date":74,"type":75},"2026-01-15","ACTUAL",{"date":77,"type":13},"2010-07",{"date":79,"type":63},"2027-07",{"name":5,"class":6},1]
