Prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted radio-guided surgery uses the preoperative intravenous administration of a PSMA-ligand called PSMA-imaging and surgery (I\\&S) labeled with the gamma-emitter radioisotope Technetium-99m (99mTc).
