The result is expressed as a change in plasma CPK concentration, measured in units per liter (U\u002FL). This single measurement is used to investigate its association with genetic polymorphisms. Therefore a regression analysis will be performed to identify the association. This study is exploratory and the genetic polymorphisms are not pre-identified but will be investigated through a comprehensive analysis.","Evolution of kinetics from Day 0 to Day 3 post experiment",null,{"allocation":15,"interventionModel":16,"interventionModelDescription":17,"primaryPurpose":6,"observationalModel":13,"timePerspective":13,"maskingInfo":18},"NA","SINGLE_GROUP","Intervention model",{"masking":19,"maskingDescription":13,"whoMasked":13},"NONE","Elite-level sports expose athletes to training loads designed to induce muscle damage, aiming to achieve optimal physiological adaptations. However, the repetitive nature of such damage increases the risk of injury. The ability to assess an athlete's susceptibility to fragility is therefore crucial for optimizing their training and performance. Genetic factors appear to play a significant role in the occurrence of these injuries, particularly through subtle variations in DNA sequences. Depending on the location of these variations within a gene, they may or may not alter the expression or function of the associated protein. The investigators aimed to investigate the relationship between genetic polymorphisms and biological parameters in the context of exercise-induced muscle damage.",[22],{"label":23,"type":24,"description":25,"interventionNames":26},"Exercise","EXPERIMENTAL","exercise group",[27],"Other: Exercise",[29],{"type":6,"name":23,"description":30,"armGroupLabels":31,"otherNames":13},"Muscle induced-damage eccentric exercise",[23],[33],{"facility":34,"status":35,"city":36,"state":13,"zip":37,"country":38,"countryCode":39,"cosmosGeoPoint":40,"geoPoint":45,"contacts":46},"Eurasport","RECRUITING","Loos","59120","France","FR",{"type":41,"coordinates":42},"Point",[43,44],3.01874,50.60982,{"lat":44,"lon":43},[47],{"name":48,"role":49,"phone":50,"phoneExt":13,"email":51},"Frédéric DAUSSIN, PhD","CONTACT","+33320416442","frederic.daussin@univ-lille.fr",{"type":53,"investigatorFullName":13,"investigatorTitle":13,"investigatorAffiliation":13,"oldNameTitle":13,"oldOrganization":13},"SPONSOR","100572966",false,"NCT06740136","Genetic Determinants of Exercise-Induced Muscle Damage (POLYGENDOMUS)","Genetic Determinants of Exercise-Induced Muscle Damage (POLYGENDOMUS) \u002F Déterminants Génétiques Des Dommages Musculaires Induits Par L'exercice (POLYGENDOMUS)","POLYGENDOMUS","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Male or female\n* Aged between 18 and 35\n* Weighing more than 50 kg\n* Member of a sports club affiliated to an Olympic federation\n* Socially insured\n* Willing to comply with all study procedures and duration of the study\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Medical history contraindicating sporting activities\n* Current medical treatment\n* Not a member of a sports club affiliated to an Olympic federation\n* Administrative reasons: impossibility of receiving informed information, impossibility of participating in the entire study, absence of social security coverage, refusal to sign consent form.",true,"ALL","18 Years","35 Years",{"count":66,"type":67},300,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[15],"The objective of this study is to evaluate the association between the evolution of plasma CPK levels and genetic polymorphisms, both before the muscle-damaging exercise and at three post-exercise time points.
