The overall baseline score in the Naming Task will be estimated from the two baseline measurements.\n\nInclusion Criteria:\n\n* diagnosis of aphasia: Broca's or mixed (based on the assessment of a Speech Language Pathologist).\n* presence of a focus of injury in the left hemisphere (within one hemisphere only) as a result of the first ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke (based on CT\u002FMRI examination);\n* chronic stage of the disease - time since the stroke occurred over 6 months.\n* ability to achieve an accuracy in the Naming Task of 10-60%.\n* 18-80 years\n* right-handedness before the stroke.\n* ability to give informed written consent.\n* fluency in English.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* severe cognitive, auditory or visual impairment that would preclude cognitive and language testing - inability to follow a two-step command.\n* presence of metal implants in the skull.\n* presence of major untreated or unstable psychiatric disease.\n* history of epilepsy or seizures.\n* ongoing medication that increases the risk of epileptic seizures.\n* presence in the body of cardiac stimulator, pacemaker or vagus nerve stimulator (implanted).\n* history of speech, language, hearing, or intellectual disability during childhood.\n* pregnancy (based on declarations)\n\nExclusion criteria during the trial:\n\n* high intolerance to stimulation.\n* occurrence of an epileptic seizure.\n* other previously absent neurological or mental symptoms\n\nWithdrawal criteria:\n\n* high intolerance to stimulation (participants experience severe discomfort during stimulation);\n* occurrence of an epileptic seizure;\n* other previously absent neurological, physical or mental symptoms.","ALL","18 Years","80 Years",{"count":92,"type":93},64,"ESTIMATED","INTERVENTIONAL",[96],"NA","The aim of the trial is to determine whether 75Hz transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) synchronized with therapeutic linguistic tasks is an effective form of therapy for post-stroke aphasia.",[99],"Post-stroke Aphasia",[101,102,103,104],"speech therapy","brain stimulation","communication","language","2026-02-13",{"date":107,"type":108},"2026-02-18","ACTUAL",{"date":110,"type":108},"2023-09-06",{"date":112,"type":93},"2026-12",{"name":5,"class":6},2]
