Confirmed diagnosis of one of the following by 2016 World Health Organization criteria:\n\n   * AML, nonacute promyelocytic leukemia\n   * MDS\n   * MDS\u002FMPN\n2. Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0 to 2.\n3. Adequate organ function defined as:\n\n   * Creatinine clearance ≥ 50 milliliters\u002Fminute (mL\u002Fmin) (or between 30 and 49 mL\u002Fmin in unfit AML cohort)\n   * Adequate liver function\n4. Life expectancy of \\> 12 weeks.\n5. Ability to comply with the requirements of the study.\n\nKey Exclusion Criteria:\n\n1. A diagnosis of acute promyelocytic leukemia.\n2.
