The PET imaging technique used in this study is considered investigational because it is being tested at an ultralow radiation dose that has not yet been approved for clinical use. The radiotracer, 18F-FDG, is FDA-approved for detecting cancer at standard doses.\n\n18F-FDG is often found to be taken up at higher levels in cancer. In this study, investigators will use a very small amount of this tracer (less than 1\u002F20th of the standard dose) along with advanced PET imaging technology to see if it is possible to create clear images while using much less radiation. This study aims to develop a safer imaging technique that could potentially be used more frequently for screening and monitoring cancer.\n\nInvestigators will enroll individuals with and without cancer to evaluate how ultralow dose PET imaging detects 18F-FDG uptake in different types of tissue.\n\nApproximately 200 people will be enrolled in this study at the Nuclear Imaging Institute.",[40],{"label":41,"type":42,"description":31,"interventionNames":43},"Ultralow Dose 18F-FDG Imaging Group","EXPERIMENTAL",[44],"Drug: 18F-FDG",[46],{"type":47,"name":48,"description":49,"armGroupLabels":50,"otherNames":51},"DRUG","18F-FDG","Participants will be injected with 18F-FDG and imaged for up to 3 hours on a PET scanner",[41],[52,53,54],"CT scan","PET scan","blood collection",[56],{"name":57,"role":58,"phone":59,"phoneExt":31,"email":60},"Barbara Blanchfield","CONTACT","973-255-4955","bblanchfield@nii.org",[62],{"facility":5,"status":63,"city":64,"state":65,"zip":66,"country":67,"countryCode":68,"cosmosGeoPoint":69,"geoPoint":74,"contacts":75},"RECRUITING","Englewood","New Jersey","07631","United States","US",{"type":70,"coordinates":71},"Point",[72,73],-73.97264,40.89288,{"lat":73,"lon":72},[76],{"name":57,"role":58,"phone":59,"phoneExt":31,"email":60},{"type":78,"investigatorFullName":79,"investigatorTitle":80,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":31,"oldOrganization":31},"SPONSOR_INVESTIGATOR","Akiva Mintz","Executive Director","100589590",false,"NCT06956391","Ultralow Dose PET Imaging of 18F-FDG Uptake","Evaluation of Ultralow Dose PET Imaging for Detecting 18F-FDG Uptake","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n1.
