Since no validated Urdu version currently exists, Urdu-speaking patients face communication barriers that may lead to inaccurate assessment and limited clinical decision-making. By ensuring semantic equivalence through forward-backward translation and expert review, the study seeks to develop a version that is both linguistically accurate and culturally appropriate.\n\nA cross-sectional research design will be used, involving adults aged 18-45 years diagnosed with upper limb functional limitations. Participants will complete both the Urdu and English DASH questionnaires to evaluate reliability and validity. Reliability will be assessed through internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha) and test-retest stability (ICC), while validity will be examined using expert scoring (CVI) and correlation with the original instrument. Data analysis will follow standard psychometric testing procedures using SPSS.\n\nThe expected outcome is a reliable, valid tool for assessing upper extremity disability in Urdu-speaking populations. This will improve clinical assessment, enhance patient communication, and support broader inclusion in rehabilitation research and practice.","Patients with upper limb disability or pain for more than 4 weeks",[24],{"label":25,"type":18,"description":26,"interventionNames":27},"Group 1","Data will be collected from experienced physiotherpist",[28,29],"Other: All participants (Aviane)","Other: data collection",[31,35],{"type":6,"name":32,"description":33,"armGroupLabels":34,"otherNames":18},"All participants (Aviane)","Data will be collected from patients having upper limb pain or disability",[25],{"type":6,"name":36,"description":37,"armGroupLabels":38,"otherNames":18},"data collection","Data will be collected from patients having upper limb pain or disbility",[25],[40],{"name":41,"role":42,"phone":43,"phoneExt":18,"email":44},"Rabia Khan, Masters in Physiotherapy","CONTACT","+923452310047","iamrabiakhan@gmail.com",[46],{"facility":47,"status":48,"city":49,"state":50,"zip":51,"country":52,"countryCode":53,"cosmosGeoPoint":54,"geoPoint":59,"contacts":60},"University","RECRUITING","Karachi","Sindh","75300","Pakistan","PK",{"type":55,"coordinates":56},"Point",[57,58],67.0104,24.8608,{"lat":58,"lon":57},[61,65],{"name":62,"role":42,"phone":63,"phoneExt":18,"email":64},"Muhammad Usman, Masters in Physiotherpy","+923333172771","usman.bumdc@gmail.com",{"name":41,"role":66,"phone":18,"phoneExt":18,"email":18},"PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR",{"type":66,"investigatorFullName":68,"investigatorTitle":69,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":18,"oldOrganization":18},"Rabia Khan","Assistant Professor","100619002",false,"NCT07338955","Validating and Assessing Reliability","Validating and Assessing Reliability of the Urdu Version of the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder, and Hand (DASH) Questionnaire.","Inclusion Criteria:\n\nDiagnosed with any upper limb disability or deformity .
