This has a significant impact on the children's manual ability which leads to activity limitation and participation restriction. The ABILHAND-Kids is a parent-reported outcome measure that quantifies the manual ability of children with CP. ABILHAND-Kids measures a child's ability to manage 21 daily activities that require the use of the upper limbs. The ABILHAND-Kids demonstrated very good measurement properties and is currently available in English, French, Dutch, Sweden, and Polish. It was also translated and adapted into the classic Arabic language in Saudi Arabia; in their study removal of two items resulted in a 19-item, valid, and reliable unidimensional scale meeting the requirement of the Rasch model without establishing measurement invariance between cultures. A linguistic adaptation is not sufficient to prove cross-cultural validity as item difficulties may vary across countries due to translation errors or cultural differences.","cerebral palsy",[19],{"type":6,"name":20,"description":21,"armGroupLabels":13,"otherNames":13},"ABILHAND-Kids questioner","questioner",[23],{"name":24,"role":25,"phone":26,"phoneExt":13,"email":27},"Amira Yosry EL-Dwiny, lecturer","CONTACT","01287081914","ameeraa2011@gmail.com",[29],{"facility":5,"status":30,"city":31,"state":13,"zip":13,"country":32,"countryCode":33,"cosmosGeoPoint":34,"geoPoint":39,"contacts":40},"RECRUITING","Damietta","Egypt","EG",{"type":35,"coordinates":36},"Point",[37,38],31.81332,31.41648,{"lat":38,"lon":37},[41],{"name":5,"role":25,"phone":42,"phoneExt":13,"email":27},"01144455581",{"type":44,"investigatorFullName":45,"investigatorTitle":46,"investigatorAffiliation":5,"oldNameTitle":13,"oldOrganization":13},"PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR","Amira Yosry El-Dwiny","lecturer of pediatric physical therapy","100554286",false,"NCT06497114","Validity and Reliability of the Egyptian-Arabic Version of ABILHAND-Kids","Validity and Reliability of the Egyptian-Arabic Version of ABILHAND-Kids in a Sample of Egyptian Children With Cerebral Palsy.","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n\\- Parents of 100 children with CP will be recruited.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* mental retardation","ALL","4 Years","18 Years",{"count":57,"type":58},100,"ESTIMATED","OBSERVATIONAL","HYPOTHESES It is hypothesized that the Egyptian-Arabic ABILHAND-Kids 21-item will be psychometrically appropriate to be used with Egyptian children with cerebral palsy.",[62],"Cerebral Palsy",[64],"hand function","2024-07-04",{"date":67,"type":68},"2024-07-11","ACTUAL",{"date":70,"type":68},"2024-06-01",{"date":72,"type":58},"2024-10-01",{"name":5,"class":6},1]
