Participants will be randomly assigned to either the intervention group, receiving Jigsaw-based collaborative learning combined with clinical scenarios, or the control group receiving traditional skills training. The primary outcome is the improvement in students' clinical skill performance as measured by a standardized skill assessment checklist. The study seeks to determine whether innovative, active learning methods can enhance fundamental nursing skills training",[24,25],"Nursing Education","Clinical Skills Training",[27,28,29,30,31],"jigsaw","scenario-based training","skills training","nurse","intravenous catheter","RECRUITING","2026-03-17",{"date":35,"type":36},"2026-03-19","ACTUAL",{"date":38,"type":36},"2026-02-24",{"date":40,"type":18},"2027-06-30",{"name":42,"class":43},"Cumhuriyet University","OTHER",1,{"id":46,"slug":4,"hasResults":10,"nctId":47,"briefTitle":48,"officialTitle":49,"acronym":50,"eligibilityCriteria":51,"healthyVolunteers":14,"sex":15,"minAge":4,"maxAge":52,"enrollmentInfo":53,"targetDuration":4,"studyType":19,"phases":55,"briefSummary":56,"conditions":57,"keywords":4,"overallStatus":32,"whyStopped":4,"lastUpdateSubmitDate":61,"lastUpdatePostDateStruct":62,"startDateStruct":64,"completionDateStruct":66,"leadSponsor":68,"locationsCount":44},"100596568","NCT07047157","The Effect of Video-Based Virtual Reality Education on Self-Confidence and Motivation in Nursing Students","The Effect of Video-Based Virtual Reality Education on Self-Confidence and Motivation in Nursing Students: The Case of Peripheral Venous Catheterization","Video-Based Vi","Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Receiving nursing education at the relevant university\n* Agreeing to participate in the study voluntarily\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Having received training on peripheral venous catheterization before","30 Years",{"count":54,"type":18},60,[21],"This study is a randomized controlled, parallel patterned, single-blind experimental study conducted to investigate the effects of video-based virtual reality (VR) training on self-confidence and motivation levels of nursing students regarding peripheral venous catheterization (PVC) skills. The study will be conducted at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Kahramanmaraş Sütçü Imam University. Eligible students will be randomly assigned into three groups: video-supported training, model-supported training, and control. All participants will first receive a 2-hour theoretical training session. Then, the video group will watch an instructional video, the model group will perform hands-on practice using anatomical models, and the control group will receive no additional intervention. Skill acquisition will be evaluated through practical assessments conducted a few days and two months after training. At the end of the study, compensatory training will be provided to all groups to ensure educational equity.
